Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Dillon McTommy kicked off to start the match. Philib Ghee showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boyle Benson in the 5th minute of the match. If Dillon McTommy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dillon McTommy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Philib Ghee having to interfere. With a little luck, Breenagh Utd's Colm Doherty got control of the ball when Reamann McWilliam tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 15thth minute of the game Dillon McTommy who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fathain's Philib Ghee was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 18 minutes, Reamann McWilliam managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fathain's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reamann McWilliam was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Philib Ghee took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dillon McTommy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Fathain's Patton Cooney got a free kick in the 22nd minute. 24 minutes into the match, Breenagh Utd's Dillon McTommy sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Philib Ghee narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Davie Gillmour sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 31stth minute of the game Barra McWill who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Breenagh Utd's Colm Doherty was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 36th minute Beagan McDecland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Philib Ghee saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Colm Doherty was a little too slow when Cullan Hughes got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 39th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 43rd minute, Branson McJohnny hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Barra McWill recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Barra McWill to strike the kick off in the second half. Reamann McWilliam received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Colm Doherty tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bowen Caffrey's late challenge caught a Fathain's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bowen Caffrey helped the player get up and apologised. After 74 played minutes Breenagh Utd got a freekick which was hit by Bowen Caffrey. Davie Gillmour fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Philib Ghee having to interfere. After 79 played minutes Breenagh Utd got a freekick which was hit by Troy Glen Crowe. Barra McWill sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Barra McWill had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fathain's Reamann McWilliam got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Colm Doherty made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Barra McWill in the 90th minute of play. There was no doubt that Fathain were the better team. Fathain's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
