The wind increased when Philib Gough made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Saltmills booed when Frevanagh FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baydan McPaul didn't get a good kick on the ball. Brannagh Costello charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Brannagh Costello the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 63 played minutes Saltmills got a freekick which was hit by Brannagh Costello. Frevanagh FC's Reidy Crowe got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With 69 minutes on the clock, Cassidy McMichel commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Cassidy McMichel kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Pauric McDonald's late challenge caught a Saltmills's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pauric McDonald helped the player get up and apologised. After 72 played minutes Frevanagh FC got a freekick which was hit by Pauric McDonald. After a defensive mix-up in Frevanagh FC's zone, Dane Ramsey stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mack Jameson came out of the goal and Dane Ramsey tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Donoghue Deery took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mack Jameson. Mack Jameson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Pauric McDonald kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. George Beckett sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cleary O'Down kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. The supporters of Saltmills booed when Frevanagh FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. George Beckett didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mack Jameson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dane Ramsey in the 93rd minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Saltmills had played much better football throughout.
