Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Bell Hughes started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Moone getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Bell Hughes hit a great ball. Kevin McAaron fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aubrey Dempsey having to interfere. Daron Doyle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aubrey Dempsey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bell Hughes in the 25th minute of the match. Brak Grant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bracken McStephen in the 26th minute of play. If Reamann Robinson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 36 minutes, Riddock McAaron mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ballysheeda and the Moone players grew even worse after the yellow card. Riddock McAaron kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Bell Hughes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aubrey Dempsey was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sheridan McNamara to make the kick off. The referee ignored Ballysheeda's protests and gave Sheridan McNamara a yellow card for diving instead. Sheridan McNamara kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Barran Hamilton stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Brak Grant. 1-0. Brak Grant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sheridan McNamara in the 95th minute of play. Brak Grant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sheridan McNamara in the 96th minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Ballysheeda fans cheered their team off the field, for while Moone had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
