Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gearoid Beckett got the match started through his kick off. Gearoid Beckett fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beothach Palmer having to interfere. Beothach Palmer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Banan Hughes in the 10th minute of play. Gearoid Beckett took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Beothach Palmer. Beothach Palmer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 24th minute Banan Hughes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beothach Palmer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Shinrone AFC's Beothach Palmer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Banan Hughes in the 26th minute of play. In the 28th minute, Harkin Harkin reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Toran Sheridan. The goal made the score 1-1. Beothach Palmer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gearoid Beckett in the 33rd minute of play. Baiscend McJon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Baiscend McJon struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Toran Sheridan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Shinrone AFC. Baiscend McJon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Harkin Harkin to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes in the game, Gearoid Beckett fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Beothach Palmer having to interfere. Gearoid Beckett sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gerald Todd's late challenge caught a Releagh's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gerald Todd helped the player get up and apologised. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Harkin Harkin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Shinrone AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Harkin Harkin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Toran Sheridan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Baiscend McJon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Toran Sheridan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Comhghall Brennan was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 83rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 84th match minute, Shinrone AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edwin Ramsey to maneuver through the defense. If Baiscend McJon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 91 minutes into the match, Releagh's goal looked a bit too open when Baiscend McJon came free, but Toran Sheridan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 95 minutes into the game, Baiscend McJon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Toran Sheridan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Shinrone AFC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
