Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Brannagh Rogers kicked off to start the match. When the match clock showed 3 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Brannagh Rogers sped through Shinrone AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Beothach Palmer. After 8 minutes of play, Shinrone AFC's Baiscend McJon made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Harry Costello was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Aengus Callaghan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brannagh Rogers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Beothach Palmer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Baiscend McJon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Through an outstanding action, after 28 minutes, Beothach Palmer successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Kilcronan FC's zone, Harkin Harkin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Harry Costello came out of the goal and Harkin Harkin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Harry Costello took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harkin Harkin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34thth minute of the game Harkin Harkin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kilcronan FC's Harry Costello was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Harkin Harkin might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Harry Costello. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Harkin Harkin ran back to his position shaking his head. Harkin Harkin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harry Costello having to interfere. Harkin Harkin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Harkin Harkin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Brannagh Rogers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Shinrone AFC's goalkeeper Beothach Palmer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Shinrone AFC's Harkin Harkin got a free kick in the 60th minute. Brannagh Rogers struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Beothach Palmer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kilcronan FC. Harkin Harkin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Kilcronan FC's Pearce McJohnny got a free kick in the 67th minute. 69 minutes into the match, Shinrone AFC's Baiscend McJon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Harry Costello narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Harry Costello took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harkin Harkin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Shinrone AFC were furious when Gerald Todd was red carded, 80 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 79th minute, one of Shinrone AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Shinrone AFC. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Brannagh Rogers in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Beothach Palmer saved Shinrone AFC from getting behind. Garrett Hamilton charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Garrett Hamilton the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Kilcronan FC's Garrett Hamilton got a free kick in the 88th minute. In the 94th minute, Henry Deery hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience held their breath when Pearce McJohnny in the 96th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Beothach Palmer's left hand side. Beothach Palmer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brannagh Rogers in the 98th minute of play. Shinrone AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
