Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Sheridan McNamara kicked off to start the match. After a defensive mix-up in Releagh's zone, Daron Doyle stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Toran Sheridan came out of the goal and Daron Doyle tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 6 minutes into the match, Releagh's goal looked a bit too open when Sheridan McNamara came free, but Toran Sheridan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Toran Sheridan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sheridan McNamara, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Toran Sheridan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sheridan McNamara in the 18th minute of the match. 24 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ballysheeda's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Comhghall Brennan was slow to take the kick. During this time Releagh's players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Donan McGlynn heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. After 27 played minutes, Releagh's Conan Caffey shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Aubrey Dempsey came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Releagh reached it. Gearoid Beckett struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Aubrey Dempsey didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Releagh. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Sheridan McNamara managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ballysheeda's supporters rose to their feet, but Sheridan McNamara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Toran Sheridan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sheridan McNamara in the 39th minute of play forced Releagh's goalkeeper Toran Sheridan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th minute, one of Releagh:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Releagh. In the 66th minute there was a penalty for Ballysheeda. Barran Hamilton stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Toran Sheridan. 1-0. In the 70th match minute, Releagh was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilbeirt Byrne to maneuver through the defense. Sheridan McNamara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 76th minute, Daron Doyle left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ballysheeda fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. With his leg Aubrey Dempsey managed to avoid a goal in the 83rdth minute, when Releagh's Banan Hughes fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Aubrey Dempsey was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Comhghall Brennan . Banan Hughes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 90 minutes into the match, Releagh's Banan Hughes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aubrey Dempsey narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gearoid Beckett received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Aubrey Dempsey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
