Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Brannagh Rogers started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. With a little luck, Ballysheeda's Aubrey Dempsey got control of the ball when Aengus Callaghan tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kilcronan FC's goalkeeper Harry Costello, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 9th minute, Garrett Hamilton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aubrey Dempsey stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Brannagh Rogers's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. After 14 played minutes Kilcronan FC's Aengus Callaghan stole the ball from his opponents and shot the ball towards the upper left corner, but Aubrey Dempsey stretched himself as far as he could, and stopped the ball from passing the line. robbing Ballysheeda of the goal. After having played for 17 minutes, Brannagh Rogers managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kilcronan FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brannagh Rogers was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Kilcronan FC booed when Ballysheeda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bracken McStephen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aubrey Dempsey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brannagh Rogers in the 19th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Aengus Callaghan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 24th minute Sheridan McNamara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harry Costello saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brannagh Rogers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Aubrey Dempsey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot 28 in the game by Aengus Callaghan from a close distance when the talented Aubrey Dempsey managed to make a qualified save. Ballysheeda's players were relieved. Brannagh Rogers recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kilcronan FC's Aengus Callaghan got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aengus Callaghan kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 34thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Ballysheeda's keeper Aubrey Dempsey was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. In the 37th minute Brannagh Rogers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aubrey Dempsey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Brannagh Rogers in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aubrey Dempsey prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Aengus Callaghan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Brannagh Rogers took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Aubrey Dempsey to make any attempt to save it. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sheridan McNamara made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Brannagh Rogers's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aubrey Dempsey was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. Davie McSteve received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Aubrey Dempsey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kilcronan FC's Harry Costello proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Kilcronan FC from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Kilcronan FC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Garrett Hamilton hit a great ball. Harry Costello made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daron Doyle in the 64th minute. Aubrey Dempsey came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Kilcronan FC's Brannagh Rogers. But to his dismay, Brannagh Rogers quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 75 minutes into the match, Brannagh Rogers notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Ballysheeda's Aubrey Dempsey. Aubrey Dempsey was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With his leg Harry Costello managed to avoid a goal in the 88thth minute, when Ballysheeda's Daron Doyle fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ballysheeda were awarded a corner in the 92th minute after Kilcronan FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Barran Hamilton took the corner. Davie McSteve's late challenge caught a Ballysheeda's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Davie McSteve helped the player get up and apologised. After 93 played minutes Kilcronan FC got a freekick which was hit by Davie McSteve. Harry Costello was a little too slow when Sheridan McNamara got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 94th minute. The score was now 3-2. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Kilcronan FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Ballysheeda had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
