Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Beanon Mullan made the kick off and thus started the match. Beanon Mullan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beothach Palmer having to interfere. Beanon Mullan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 14 minutes into the match, Edwin Ramsey notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Gortearagh's Joshua Lester. Joshua Lester was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Shinrone AFC booed when Gortearagh was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Britt Martyn didn't get a good kick on the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Gortearagh's goal looked a bit too open when Tipper McMichel came free, but Joshua Lester reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joshua Lester made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Harkin Harkin in the 24th minute of play. Gortearagh's Joshua Lester played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baiscend McJon in the 26th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Baiscend McJon in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joshua Lester saved Gortearagh from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Britt Martyn during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Britt Martyn hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Gortearagh's Brett McJohnny got a free kick in the 39th minute. A hard and well directed shot from Beolagh Ghee led 40 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. Gortearagh's Joshua Lester became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 0-2. Beanon Mullan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Beothach Palmer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Shinrone AFC's Rory Gillmour got a free kick in the 44th minute. The Gortearagh players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Shinrone AFC were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Harkin Harkin to make the kick off. Baiscend McJon charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Baiscend McJon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Baiscend McJon kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Beanon Mullan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Shinrone AFC's Harkin Harkin got a free kick in the 59th minute. Beanon Mullan hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Tipper McMichel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joshua Lester having to make a save. Joshua Lester showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edwin Ramsey, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Beanon Mullan might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Beothach Palmer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Beanon Mullan ran back to his position shaking his head. Gortearagh's Joshua Lester played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edwin Ramsey in the 74th minute of play. If Beanon Mullan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Shinrone AFC booed when Gortearagh was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benedict Cassin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Conleth Barrett charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Conleth Barrett the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 83 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Shinrone AFC! The referee gave Gortearagh a penalty, 85 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Brett McJohnny, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Shinrone AFC's Beothach Palmer. 1-2. When the match had gone on for 96 minutes, Harkin Harkin took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Joshua Lester to make any attempt to save it. The Gortearagh supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Shinrone AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Shinrone AFC.
