The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Keeghan McTommy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Irving Lester in the 4th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Curran McWill managed to get in a good position for a shot. Woodhouse's supporters rose to their feet, but Curran McWill was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Keeghan McTommy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 7 minutes, Irving Lester managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Woodhouse's supporters crossed their fingers, but Irving Lester was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lavey AFC's goalkeeper Keeghan McTommy, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gearóid Dimson lost his temper 16 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 16th minute of the game. One of Woodhouse:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Lavey AFC:s goal. Cormac Sheridan placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Begley Hughes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Benjamin McWill tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Woodhouse's Barnaby Glen Crowe got a free kick in the 21st minute. Begley Hughes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benjamin McWill read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Barnaby Glen Crowe during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Woodhouse getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Barnaby Glen Crowe hit a great ball. Benjamin McWill acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 30th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Cormac Sheridan. In the 33rd minute Curran McWill shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keeghan McTommy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, Lavey AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Barnaby Glen Crowe came free, but Keeghan McTommy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Lavey AFC booed when Woodhouse was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Todd Grant didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cleary McNamee recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 42nd match minute, Lavey AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bradon Lester to maneuver through the defense. Keeghan McTommy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Curran McWill, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. The Lavey AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Woodhouse were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Cleary McNamee made the kick off in the second half. Curran McWill fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Keeghan McTommy having to interfere. Curran McWill recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Keeghan McTommy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Barnaby Glen Crowe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Woodhouse's Benjamin McWill played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cleary McNamee in the 84th minute of play. 87 minutes into the match, Lavey AFC's Cleary McNamee sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benjamin McWill narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Lavey AFC's Keeghan McTommy got control of the ball when Todd Grant tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Woodhouse players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
