Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) 6 minutes into the match, Shinrone AFC's Baiscend McJon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Brak Grant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Breffni Hutton fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Moone's protests and gave Breffni Hutton a yellow card for diving instead. In the 7th minute, Breffni Hutton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Baiscend McJon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Brak Grant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 12th minute, Dinny Molloy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Shinrone AFC's Beolagh Ghee tried to score from far away in the 13th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Shinrone AFC's Baiscend McJon got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 18th minute, Harkin Harkin fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Moone's Bell Hughes got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Harkin Harkin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 25 minutes into the match, Shinrone AFC's Beolagh Ghee broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Baiscend McJon struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Brak Grant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Shinrone AFC. Henry Deery kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Baiscend McJon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brak Grant having to interfere. 41 minutes into the game, Dillon Matthews was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Moone's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Shinrone AFC the free kick. In the 41st match minute, Moone was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dillon Matthews to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Harkin Harkin in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Brak Grant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Shinrone AFC's zone, Bell Hughes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Beothach Palmer came out of the goal and Bell Hughes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Harkin Harkin made the kick off in the second half. Kevin McAaron received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Beothach Palmer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 56th minute Baiscend McJon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brak Grant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Beothach Palmer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kevin McAaron in the 62nd minute. If Bell Hughes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Baiscend McJon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Brak Grant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. 67 minutes into the game, Beolagh Ghee was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Shinrone AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Moone the free kick. In the 67th match minute, Shinrone AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beolagh Ghee to maneuver through the defense. Brak Grant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baiscend McJon, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Harkin Harkin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 77th match minute, Moone was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Breslin McWillie to maneuver through the defense. When Harkin Harkin came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Shinrone AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Harkin Harkin couldn't finish the play. Beothach Palmer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kevin McAaron in the 85th minute. Harkin Harkin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Brak Grant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Moone's Brak Grant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edwin Ramsey in the 92nd minute of play. When Shinrone AFC's Baiscend McJon in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Moone's goalie prevented a goal. The Moone players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Shinrone AFC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
