Joshua Lester was out of position in the 3 minute of play, and Irving Lester capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Irving Lester really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Woodhouse's Benjamin McWill played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beanon Mullan in the 6th minute of play. In the 8th minute Barnaby Glen Crowe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joshua Lester saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Boroimhe Matthews had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th minute, Alan Ramsey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 20 minutes into the match, Woodhouse's goal looked a bit too open when Brett McJohnny came free, but Benjamin McWill reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Beanon Mullan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gortearagh's supporters rose to their feet, but Beanon Mullan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benjamin McWill breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 26 minutes into the match, Gortearagh's goalkeeper Joshua Lester had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Todd Grant. 27 minutes into the game, Woodhouse's Todd Grant nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joshua Lester made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Bailey Grant made in the 30th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Gortearagh's Britt Martyn. In the 32nd minute Beanon Mullan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamin McWill saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, Gortearagh's goal looked a bit too open when Barnaby Glen Crowe came free, but Joshua Lester reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joshua Lester was out of position in the 35 minute of play, and Barnaby Glen Crowe capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Barnaby Glen Crowe really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Joshua Lester was a little too slow when Todd Grant got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 38th minute. The score was now 4-0. After having played for 45 minutes, Beanon Mullan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gortearagh's supporters crossed their fingers, but Beanon Mullan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Curran McWill came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Woodhouse fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Curran McWill couldn't finish the play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
52 minutes into the match, Gortearagh's Beanon Mullan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benjamin McWill narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Woodhouse getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Barnaby Glen Crowe hit a great ball. Britt Martyn hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. In the 62nd minute, Todd Grant ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joshua Lester was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Joshua Lester took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Barnaby Glen Crowe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 68th minute, Todd Grant left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Woodhouse fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. 76 minutes into the match, Barnaby Glen Crowe had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joshua Lester. Gortearagh's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Barnaby Glen Crowe was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. After a rather tough play, Gortearagh's Benedict Cassin got a free kick in the 80th minute. From close distance Boroimhe Matthews pressed in the 7-1 goal high up into nets stiches in the right cross 83 minutes into the game. In the 86th minute, Todd Grant made a precise shot to the right of Joshua Lester. Gortearagh's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-1. Joshua Lester made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Irving Lester in the 90th minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, Todd Grant had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joshua Lester. Gortearagh's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Todd Grant was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-1. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Woodhouse had played much better football throughout.
