Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Cleary McNamee kicked off to start the match. After 4 minutes, Bradon Lester mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lavey AFC and the Ballysheeda players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Ballysheeda booed when Lavey AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bradon Lester didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lavey AFC's Keeghan McTommy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Lavey AFC from getting a goal against them. Keeghan McTommy was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sheridan McNamara showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 10 minute of play. Binne Gallagher kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Begley Hughes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lavey AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Begley Hughes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aubrey Dempsey breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 15th minute, Sheridan McNamara got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sheridan McNamara in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Keeghan McTommy prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Daron Doyle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 26 minutes into the match, Lavey AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Sheridan McNamara came free, but Keeghan McTommy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Daron Doyle had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Keeghan McTommy. Lavey AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daron Doyle was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. 43 minutes into the game, Daron Doyle recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Keeghan McTommy. Daron Doyle showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sheridan McNamara to make the kick off. Lavey AFC's Keeghan McTommy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daron Doyle in the 54th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Lavey AFC's zone, Sheridan McNamara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Keeghan McTommy came out of the goal and Sheridan McNamara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Daron Doyle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Barran Hamilton kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. When Ballysheeda's Sheridan McNamara, in the 69th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Ballysheeda. Keeghan McTommy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sheridan McNamara, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. 75 minutes into the game, Cormac Sheridan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lavey AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ballysheeda the free kick. Cormac Sheridan hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Keeghan McTommy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sheridan McNamara, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. In the 78th minute Daron Doyle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keeghan McTommy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lavey AFC's Keeghan McTommy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daron Doyle in the 81st minute of play. Cormac Sheridan was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 83rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 86th minute, Sheridan McNamara left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ballysheeda fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. In the 93rd minute Daron Doyle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keeghan McTommy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 95 minutes into the game, Daron Doyle cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Keeghan McTommy was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ballysheeda's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
