Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Brannagh Rogers started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aengus Callaghan in the 4th minute of play forced Barnalisheen's goalkeeper Rowan Gallagher to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 9th minute, Aengus Callaghan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rowan Gallagher was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After a rather tough play, Barnalisheen's Bhrighde McOliver got a free kick in the 15th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Patrick Cassin got free with Harry Costello in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Brannagh Rogers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Rowan Gallagher tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kilcronan FC's Harry Costello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ryan Hughes in the 28th minute of play. Rowan Gallagher showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aengus Callaghan in the 31st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Garrett Hamilton managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kilcronan FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Garrett Hamilton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rowan Gallagher breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 44 minutes into the match, Barnalisheen's Ryan Hughes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Harry Costello narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rowan Gallagher showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aengus Callaghan, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Ryan Hughes made the kick off in the second half. When Brannagh Rogers came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Kilcronan FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brannagh Rogers couldn't finish the play. Brannagh Rogers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Seán Beckett during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Aengus Callaghan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice moves Aengus Callaghan could shoot a difficult shot in the 74th minute, which Rowan Gallagher however easily saved by the left post. When Aengus Callaghan came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Kilcronan FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aengus Callaghan couldn't finish the play. Patrick Cassin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harry Costello having to interfere. Harry Costello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ryan Hughes in the 82nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Kilcronan FC's Bryan Caffrey got a free kick in the 84th minute. Kilcronan FC's Harry Costello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patrick Cassin in the 84th minute of play. Bhrighde McOliver took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 90th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Harry Costello. Kilcronan FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 94th minute Ryan Hughes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harry Costello saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ryan Hughes might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Harry Costello. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ryan Hughes ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Kilcronan FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
