Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Brannagh Rogers started the match with the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bar Gough in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Harry Costello saved Kilcronan FC from getting behind. Bar Gough struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Harry Costello didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Drishane. Bray Murphy made in the 6th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Drishane's Nechifor Coporan. Bar Gough's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Harry Costello read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. After having played for 12 minutes, Bar Gough managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Drishane's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bar Gough was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Drishane's zone, Garrett Hamilton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bradaigh McBrandon came out of the goal and Garrett Hamilton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 17 minutes into the game, Drishane's Bar Gough nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Harry Costello made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After a rather tough play, Drishane's Agostinho Mineiro got a free kick in the 20th minute. Harry Costello showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bar Gough in the 22nd minute of the match. Bar Gough received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Harry Costello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Flannery McSteve kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. In the 37th minute, Bar Gough made a precise shot to the right of Harry Costello. Kilcronan FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Bar Gough sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bar Gough might have been able to make a better finish in the 48th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Harry Costello. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bar Gough ran back to his position shaking his head. Harry Costello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bar Gough in the 48th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bar Gough made a kick off. Bradaigh McBrandon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Garrett Hamilton in the 51st minute of play. In the 55th minute Davie McSteve shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bradaigh McBrandon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bradaigh McBrandon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aengus Callaghan in the 57th minute of the match. Bradaigh McBrandon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aengus Callaghan went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. 67 minutes into the match, Drishane's Bar Gough sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Harry Costello narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bar Gough's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Harry Costello read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. Drishane's Nechifor Coporan pulled a muscle in his leg after 75 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Bray Murphy got his second yellow card in the match during the 75th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Drishane made a substitution. Ryleigh Dempsey replaced Nechifor Coporan. 78 minutes into the match, Bar Gough notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Kilcronan FC's Harry Costello. Harry Costello was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Bar Gough had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
