The audience was convinced that Harkin Harkin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Coileán Myler was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. Baiscend McJon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Coileán Myler having to interfere. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Harkin Harkin couldn't finish the play. Baiscend McJon in the 78thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Coileán Myler, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 84th minute Harkin Harkin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Coileán Myler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Coileán Myler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harkin Harkin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kilbraney's Coileán Myler proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Kilbraney from getting a goal against them. If Baiscend McJon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute, Tipper McMichel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Shinrone AFC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
