Without hesitation aimed to the right of Benjamin McWill, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Curran McWill fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aubrey Dempsey having to interfere. Aubrey Dempsey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Irving Lester, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 19 minutes, Sheridan McNamara managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ballysheeda's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sheridan McNamara was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After having played for 27 minutes, Irving Lester managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aubrey Dempsey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Irving Lester, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Sheridan McNamara managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ballysheeda's supporters rose to their feet, but Sheridan McNamara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benjamin McWill breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Irving Lester to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Daron Doyle notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Woodhouse's Benjamin McWill. Benjamin McWill was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Woodhouse's zone, Sheridan McNamara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benjamin McWill came out of the goal and Sheridan McNamara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 64 minutes into the match, Woodhouse's goal looked a bit too open when Sheridan McNamara came free, but Benjamin McWill reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aubrey Dempsey was out of position in the 66 minute of play, and Irving Lester capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Irving Lester really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Bracken McStephen charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bracken McStephen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bracken McStephen kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. In the 76th match minute, Ballysheeda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sheridan McNamara to maneuver through the defense. Aubrey Dempsey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Irving Lester, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. In the 84th minute, Bealtaine McJohnny hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 85th minute of the match Barran Hamilton shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benjamin McWill showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Curran McWill came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Woodhouse fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Curran McWill couldn't finish the play. 89 minutes into the match, Irving Lester dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Aubrey Dempsey, 1-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Sheridan McNamara managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ballysheeda's supporters rose to their feet, but Sheridan McNamara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benjamin McWill breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bailey Grant during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bailey Grant kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Ballysheeda's Sheridan McNamara got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Woodhouse eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
