Beothach Palmer made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Patrick Cassin sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Patrick Cassin got free with Beothach Palmer in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ryan Hughes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Beothach Palmer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ryan Hughes in the 18th minute of play. 19 minutes into the game, Patrick Cassin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Beothach Palmer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rowan Gallagher came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Shinrone AFC's Baiscend McJon. But to his dismay, Baiscend McJon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Harkin Harkin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rowan Gallagher having to interfere. After 37 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Shinrone AFC! In the 39th minute, Barnalisheen got a penalty, and Bhrighde McOliver placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. Seán Beckett hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Rowan Gallagher showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harkin Harkin in the 43rd minute of the match. In the 47th match minute, Barnalisheen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eoghan Tracy to maneuver through the defense. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Harkin Harkin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Barnalisheen's goalkeeper Rowan Gallagher, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Barnalisheen's Ryan Hughes got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Barnalisheen's Rowan Gallagher played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harkin Harkin in the 63rd minute of play. If Baiscend McJon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Beothach Palmer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrick Cassin in the 67th minute of the match. Baiscend McJon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rowan Gallagher having to interfere. After 73 played minutes Shinrone AFC got a freekick which was hit by Rory Gillmour. 76 minutes into the match, Shinrone AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ryan Hughes came free, but Beothach Palmer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, Shinrone AFC's Baiscend McJon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rowan Gallagher narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Barnalisheen getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Cáirbre Lavine hit a great ball. 88 minutes into the game, Eoghan Tracy was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barnalisheen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Shinrone AFC the free kick. After 88 played minutes Barnalisheen got a freekick which was hit by Eoghan Tracy. Barnalisheen's Rowan Gallagher proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Barnalisheen from getting a goal against them.
