In the 11th minute, Brannagh Rogers fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Brak Grant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aengus Callaghan went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. 14 minutes into the match, Kilcronan FC's Aengus Callaghan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Brak Grant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Brak Grant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brannagh Rogers, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Davie McSteve's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 26thth minute, Brak Grant skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Bell Hughes came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Moone fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bell Hughes couldn't finish the play. If Aengus Callaghan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Brannagh Rogers to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 63rd match minute, Moone was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bell Hughes to maneuver through the defense. In the 66th minute Brannagh Rogers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brak Grant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kilcronan FC's Aengus Callaghan got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kilcronan FC's goalkeeper Harry Costello, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Garrett Hamilton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Aengus Callaghan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brak Grant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brannagh Rogers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Davie McSteve managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kilcronan FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Davie McSteve was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brak Grant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Harry Costello showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bell Hughes in the 92nd minute of the match. Kilcronan FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
