Finbar Ryan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Barley Silke having to make a save. In the 11th minute, Finbar Ryan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Drommartin booed when Coorlaghan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Braddon Matthews didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 23rd match minute, Drommartin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roordan Cooney to maneuver through the defense. 24 minutes in the game, Donn Murphy dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Finbar Ryan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Barley Silke having to interfere. Coorlaghan's Donn Murphy got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Donn Murphy succeeded in the game's 44th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. Barley Silke made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Finbar Ryan sent off a good shot on target. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Donn Murphy stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Coorlaghan's Finbar Ryan got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Donn Murphy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Finbar Ryan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 62nd minute, Donn Murphy made a precise shot to the right of Barley Silke. Drommartin's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. 65 minutes into the match, Coorlaghan's goalkeeper Donal Tierney had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bar McLaughlin. Bar McLaughlin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Donal Tierney made a huge save. Finnigan Sheridan kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Bar McLaughlin was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 73rd minute. Drommartin's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 74th match minute, Coorlaghan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Finnigan Sheridan to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, Drommartin's Donal Tierney threw himself towards the right post 80 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Danann McGlenn, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Finnigan Sheridan kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. With a little luck, Coorlaghan's Donal Tierney got control of the ball when Bar McLaughlin tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 82 played minutes Coorlaghan got a freekick which was hit by Peadair Jameson. After 84 played minutes Drommartin got a freekick which was hit by Roordan Cooney. When Drommartin's Danann McGlenn in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Coorlaghan's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Coorlaghan booed when Drommartin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teddy Dillon didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 95 played minutes Coorlaghan got a freekick which was hit by Finnigan Sheridan.
