Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. The audience was convinced that Bivitas Deery's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cassidy Mullan was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. Breadan Bayes kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Bivitas Deery received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Samuel Costello prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Samuel Costello took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Beehan Quinnless, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Shamus Jameson during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Shamus Jameson kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Samuel Costello showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brett Grant in the 34th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the match, Andrew McPeter notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Cleenaghoo's Cassidy Mullan. Cassidy Mullan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Andrew McPeter struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Cassidy Mullan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kiltullagh. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Brett Grant made a kick off. The supporters of Kiltullagh booed when Cleenaghoo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brett Grant didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 56 played minutes Cleenaghoo got a freekick which was hit by John Scully. 59 minutes into the match, Kiltullagh's Bivitas Deery sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cassidy Mullan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 61st minute, one of Cleenaghoo:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Cleenaghoo. Hickey Prunty placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Andrew McPeter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cassidy Mullan having to interfere. Cassidy Mullan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bivitas Deery's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. In the 72nd minute, Brett Grant made a precise shot to the right of Samuel Costello. Kiltullagh's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Cleenaghoo's zone, Bivitas Deery stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cassidy Mullan came out of the goal and Bivitas Deery tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bivitas Deery fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cassidy Mullan having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, Andrew McPeter got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 88 minutes, Bivitas Deery made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Cleenaghoo's Cassidy Mullan tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Kiltullagh's Andrew McPeter got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee ended the match the Kiltullagh players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
