Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Tevis McPaul got the match started through his kick off. After 3 played minutes Broher Utd got a freekick which was hit by Brogan Coyle. Artur McJohn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Bodibeua Cronin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 7thth minute of the game Bil McJohn who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Meelick AFC's Bodibeua Cronin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Broher Utd's Leon McPaul played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boroimhe Deery in the 12th minute of play. If Boroimhe Deery had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 26 minutes into the game, Peadair McMichel recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Leon McPaul. Peadair McMichel showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bhrighde McFrancise during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Broher Utd getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Bhrighde McFrancise hit a great ball. After having played for 34 minutes, Boroimhe Deery managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Meelick AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Boroimhe Deery was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 38 minutes into the game, Meelick AFC's Boroimhe Deery nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leon McPaul made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Derin Morrison during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Leon McPaul showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boroimhe Deery in the 46th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Boroimhe Deery was the one to do the kick off. Bodibeua Cronin made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Artur McJohn sent off a good shot on target. Bodibeua Cronin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tevis McPaul, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. In the 65th minute, Brendan Jameson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bodibeua Cronin made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Bil McJohn sent off a good shot on target. Leon McPaul made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peadair McMichel in the 71st minute of play. Tevis McPaul struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Bodibeua Cronin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Broher Utd. When Brogan Coyle fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Broher Utd's protests and gave Brogan Coyle a yellow card for diving instead. In the 79th minute Boroimhe Deery shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leon McPaul saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 80 minutes had been played when some careless play by Broher Utd's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Boroimhe Deery was slow to take the kick. During this time Meelick AFC's players had a chance to rest. A collision led to Meelick AFC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Irving Deery hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Barrie Palmer during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Broher Utd booed when Meelick AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Barrie Palmer didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 94 played minutes Meelick AFC got a freekick which was hit by Peadair McMichel. For all the effort they put into the match, the Broher Utd players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Meelick AFC.
