Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Shanavoola's Cassidy Hamilton started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dawayne Palmer kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Shanavoola's supporters rose to their feet, but Sameer Harkin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kerrigan McPeter breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Comhghall Kelly managed to get in a good position for a shot. Belock MaCollin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 7 played minutes Shanavoola got a freekick which was hit by Brine Cooney. Tomás McWillie might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Belock MaCollin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomás McWillie ran back to his position shaking his head. Thom McPeter's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kerrigan McPeter read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. Kerrigan McPeter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thom McPeter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Nicker's Tomás McWillie slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Belock MaCollin. That made the score 1-0 after 16 minutes of play. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Nicker's goalkeeper Kerrigan McPeter, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 25 minutes into the match, Nicker's goal looked a bit too open when Thom McPeter came free, but Kerrigan McPeter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Shanavoola's Thom McPeter in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Nicker's goalie prevented a goal. After 35 played minutes Nicker got a freekick which was hit by Andrew Lester. Comhghall Kellys short, quick shot in the 40thth minute got Belock MaCollin to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of Nicker booed when Shanavoola was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Berke McSteven didn't get a good kick on the ball. Comhghall Kelly could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Belock MaCollin made a huge save.

A collision led to Nicker getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Timothy Mullan hit a great ball. Thom McPeter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kerrigan McPeter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cassidy Hamilton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 62 played minutes Nicker got a freekick which was hit by Timothy Mullan. Douglas Cronin's late challenge caught a Shanavoola's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Douglas Cronin helped the player get up and apologised. Cassidy Hamilton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kerrigan McPeter having to interfere. Timothy Mullan hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Shanavoola's Cassidy Hamilton got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 77 minutes into the match, Nicker's goalkeeper Kerrigan McPeter had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Thom McPeter. Kerrigan McPeter made an important save on a dangerous shot by Thom McPeter in the 81st minute. Cassidy Hamilton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kerrigan McPeter having to interfere. The supporters of Shanavoola booed when Nicker was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andrew Lester didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kerrigan McPeter came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Shanavoola's Thom McPeter. But to his dismay, Thom McPeter quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 91st minute, Cassidy Hamilton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Timothy Mullan fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nicker's protests and gave Timothy Mullan a yellow card for diving instead. In the 92nd match minute, Nicker was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Timothy Mullan to maneuver through the defense. 93 minutes into the match, Nicker's goal looked a bit too open when Cassidy Hamilton came free, but Kerrigan McPeter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 97 minutes into the match, Shanavoola's Thom McPeter sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kerrigan McPeter narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
