Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Berkeley Palmer took the kick off in the first half of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Baird Gough managed to get in a good position for a shot. Killyon's supporters rose to their feet, but Baird Gough was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Keely McBrandon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 6thth minute of the game Baird Gough who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Loughbeg's Keely McBrandon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 7 minutes into the match, Killyon's goalkeeper Lewis Kelly had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Justin Dalton. 10 minutes into the game, Berkeley Palmer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Keely McBrandon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 16 minutes into the match, Loughbeg's goal looked a bit too open when Berkeley Palmer came free, but Keely McBrandon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Justin Daltons short, quick shot in the 19thth minute got Lewis Kelly to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Glenn Deans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Glenn Deans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Lewis Kelly tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Killyon's Berkeley Palmer managed to work through Loughbeg's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Berkeley Palmer dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. In the 31stth minute of the game Berkeley Palmer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Loughbeg's Keely McBrandon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee showed Justin Dalton the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Justin Dalton hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Baird Gough fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Keely McBrandon having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Killyon's zone, Glenn Deans stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lewis Kelly came out of the goal and Glenn Deans tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 43 minutes into the match, Killyon's goal looked a bit too open when Glenn Deans came free, but Lewis Kelly reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Keely McBrandon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Berkeley Palmer's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Berkeley Palmer in the 48th minute of play forced Loughbeg's goalkeeper Keely McBrandon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Glenn Deans made the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes, Riley Caffey mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Loughbeg and the Killyon players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 51 played minutes Loughbeg got a freekick which was hit by Riley Caffey. Loughbeg's Keely McBrandon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Loughbeg from getting a goal against them. Killyon's Baird Gough got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Berkeley Palmer got free with Keely McBrandon in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Killyon booed when Loughbeg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kieran Deery didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 70 played minutes Loughbeg got a freekick which was hit by Glenn Deans. Justin Dalton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Riley Caffey got his second yellow card in the match during the 74th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Loughbeg getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Riley Caffey hit a great ball. Baird Gough struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Keely McBrandon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Killyon. In the 77th minute, Críostóir Ghee hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 80 minutes of play, Killyon's Baird Gough made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Keely McBrandon was left in no man's land by his defense there! Killyon's Baird Gough got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lewis Kelly showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Justin Dalton in the 94th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Killyon's zone, Justin Dalton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lewis Kelly came out of the goal and Justin Dalton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
