In the 14th minute, Cassidy Hamilton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Donavon McOliver charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Donavon McOliver the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Donavon McOliver hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Belock MaCollin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Barde O'Neill in the 22nd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Brazil Mullan during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Cootehall booed when Shanavoola was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brazil Mullan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Barde O'Neill managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cootehall's supporters rose to their feet, but Barde O'Neill was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Belock MaCollin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Belock MaCollin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donncha McPaul in the 26th minute of play. 30 minutes into the game, one of Cootehall:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 31st minute there was a penalty for Shanavoola. Sameer Harkin stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Samuel Costello. 0-1. Barde O'Neill in the 35thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Belock MaCollin, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thom McPeter couldn't finish the play. Cassidy Hamilton struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Samuel Costello didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Shanavoola. Thom McPeter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Samuel Costello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cootehall's Samuel Costello proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Cootehall from getting a goal against them. In the 76th minute, Thom McPeter made a precise shot to the right of Samuel Costello. Cootehall's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Samuel Costello was a little too slow when Cassidy Hamilton got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 81st minute. The score was now 0-4. Thom McPeter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Samuel Costello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 88 minutes into the match, Cootehall's goal looked a bit too open when Cassidy Hamilton came free, but Samuel Costello reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thom McPeter struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Samuel Costello didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Shanavoola. Belock MaCollin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Barde O'Neill in the 91st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donncha McPaul in the 96th minute of play forced Shanavoola's goalkeeper Belock MaCollin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Shanavoola played a much better game than Cootehall and deserved their victory. The Cootehall players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
