Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Berkeley Palmer took the kick off in the first half of the match. Lewis Kelly showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jarlath Holt in the 3rd minute of the match. Flann Rutherford kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Lewis Kelly was out of position in the 7 minute of play, and Thurl Doyle capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Thurl Doyle really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. The supporters of Derry FC booed when Killyon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felim McLian didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Derry FC's Heremon McLiam slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lewis Kelly. That made the score 2-0 after 15 minutes of play. Derry FC's Breccan Ramsey got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 25 minutes into the match, Killyon's goalkeeper Lewis Kelly had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Darrin Branson. After a defensive mix-up in Killyon's zone, Darrin Branson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lewis Kelly came out of the goal and Darrin Branson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Derry FC's Nolyn Todd slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lewis Kelly. That made the score 3-0 after 29 minutes of play. With 34 minutes on the clock, David Caffrey commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Lewis Kelly acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 36th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Heremon McLiam. Heremon McLiam took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lewis Kelly. Lewis Kelly dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Breccan Ramsey scored 5-0 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lewis Kelly, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jeremiah Cronin kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Flann Rutherford struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Bannon Doyle didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Killyon. In the 48th minute, Darrin Branson made a precise shot to the right of Lewis Kelly. Killyon's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-0 at half-time.

In the 54th minute Darrin Branson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lewis Kelly saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thurl Doyle might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lewis Kelly. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Thurl Doyle ran back to his position shaking his head. 68 minutes into the match, Killyon's goal looked a bit too open when Darrin Branson came free, but Lewis Kelly reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 71 minutes into the match, Darrin Branson notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of Killyon's Lewis Kelly. Lewis Kelly was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Thurl Doyle during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Derry FC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Thurl Doyle hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Darrin Branson in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lewis Kelly prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lewis Kelly showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Heremon McLiam in the 81st minute of the match. 82 minutes into the match, Derry FC's goal looked a bit too open when Felim McLian came free, but Bannon Doyle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jarlath Holt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Lewis Kelly tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lewis Kelly showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Darrin Branson in the 90th minute of the match. 92 minutes into the match, Tirloch Beckett notched a goal, 9-0, to the right of Killyon's Lewis Kelly. Lewis Kelly was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 95 minutes into the match, Killyon's goal looked a bit too open when Darrin Branson came free, but Lewis Kelly reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
