Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Cassidy Hamilton kicked off to start the match. In the 4th match minute, Shanavoola was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Berke McSteven to maneuver through the defense. Cassidy Hamilton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Lewis Kelly tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Baird Gough fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Belock MaCollin having to interfere. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Shanavoola's goalkeeper Belock MaCollin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thom McPeter might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lewis Kelly. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Thom McPeter ran back to his position shaking his head. Banbhan McPhil's late challenge caught a Shanavoola's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Banbhan McPhil helped the player get up and apologised. Banbhan McPhil hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. In the 30th match minute, Shanavoola was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cassidy Hamilton to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Thom McPeter in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lewis Kelly saved Killyon from getting behind. Flann Rutherford hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Baird Gough managed to get in a good position for a shot. Killyon's supporters rose to their feet, but Baird Gough was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Belock MaCollin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Berkeley Palmer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Belock MaCollin was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. Lewis Kelly stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Thom McPeter's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. Felim McLian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Belock MaCollin having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Berkeley Palmer in the 47th minute of play forced Shanavoola's goalkeeper Belock MaCollin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

After a defensive mix-up in Shanavoola's zone, Baird Gough stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Belock MaCollin came out of the goal and Baird Gough tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Thom McPeter got free with Lewis Kelly in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Beartlai McVictor fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Shanavoola's protests and gave Beartlai McVictor a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Killyon booed when Shanavoola was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Beartlai McVictor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cassidy Hamilton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 62 minutes into the game, Cassidy Hamilton recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lewis Kelly. Cassidy Hamilton showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. Thom McPeter might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lewis Kelly. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Thom McPeter ran back to his position shaking his head. Cassidy Hamilton's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lewis Kelly read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. If Baird Gough had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thom McPeter struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Lewis Kelly didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Shanavoola. With a little luck, Killyon's Lewis Kelly got control of the ball when Thom McPeter tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Cassidy Hamilton came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Shanavoola fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cassidy Hamilton couldn't finish the play.
