An unexpectedly hard shot by Barin McWill in the 21st minute of play forced Ballygarett FC's goalkeeper Gearalt John to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brickeen Gollogley hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Ballygarett FC's Barran Grant got a free kick in the 30th minute. Gearalt John showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Art McLiam in the 32nd minute of the match. Brenden Caffrey in the 34thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Thom Deans, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The Ballygarett FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1.
