Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) In the 4th minute of the match Brennen Frankson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ciarán Sheridan skillfully saved the ball. With 6 minutes on the clock, Berke McAaron commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 5th minute of the game. One of Urbalreagh:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Kilcloher:s goal. In the 8th minute there was a penalty for Kilcloher. Ricard Willson stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ciarán Sheridan. 0-1. Seán Duggan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rowe Ryan having to interfere. Thurl Myler kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Seán Duggan in the 38th minute of play forced Kilcloher's goalkeeper Rowe Ryan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Kilcloher's John McAlphie got a free kick in the 40th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Don McNamara managed to get in a good position for a shot. Urbalreagh's supporters rose to their feet, but Don McNamara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rowe Ryan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Urbalreagh getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Britt McJohnny hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
When Kilcloher's Donagh Horgan in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Urbalreagh's goalie prevented a goal. Blamhac Scully recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rowe Ryan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Blamhac Scully, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 69 minutes, Don McNamara managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Urbalreagh's supporters crossed their fingers, but Don McNamara was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 75 minutes into the game, Blathmac O'Brien cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Ciarán Sheridan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Seán Duggan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rowe Ryan having to interfere. Blamhac Scully sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Seán Duggan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Rowe Ryan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Seán Duggan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Urbalreagh's supporters rose to their feet, but Seán Duggan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rowe Ryan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
