In the 6thth minute of the game Banbhan Mulvihill who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Larass Utd's Reagan Hunt was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Banbhan Mulvihill had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rourke Quinnless in the 13thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Reagan Hunt, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The audience was convinced that Banbhan Mulvihill's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Reagan Hunt was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. Theodore Walker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boru Grant, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Larass Utd fans' excitement grew in the 20th match minute when Larass Utd's Danann John looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danann John in the 24th minute of play forced Doornane Utd's goalkeeper Theodore Walker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th minute Boru Grant shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Theodore Walker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Danann John sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Banbhan Mulvihill in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Reagan Hunt saved Larass Utd from getting behind. When Boru Grant came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Larass Utd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Boru Grant couldn't finish the play. 45 minutes into the match, Rourke Quinnless had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Reagan Hunt. Larass Utd's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rourke Quinnless was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Danann John made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Banbhan Mulvihill in the 56th minute of play forced Larass Utd's goalkeeper Reagan Hunt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Danann John recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rourke Quinnless received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Reagan Hunt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Donn McWill charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Donn McWill the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Doornane Utd's Donn McWill got a free kick in the 62nd minute. In the 66th minute Danann John shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Theodore Walker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Reagan Hunt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rourke Quinnless's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Danann John in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Theodore Walker saved Doornane Utd from getting behind. A collision led to Doornane Utd getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Timothy Gollogley hit a great ball. Reagan Hunt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Banbhan Mulvihill in the 83rd minute of the match.
