In the 11th match minute, Clonegal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kerrigan Cooney to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Clonegal defense, Torrey Rutherford kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Darick McWillie. The Clonegal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Darick McWillie should have stopped the shot. Andrew McNamee fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donan Beckett having to interfere. Drummin's Torrey Rutherford got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Clonegal's zone, Barcvni Frankson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Darick McWillie came out of the goal and Barcvni Frankson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 28 minutes, Torrey Rutherford managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Drummin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Torrey Rutherford was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Darick McWillie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Barcvni Frankson, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Barcvni Frankson in the 31st minute of play forced Clonegal's goalkeeper Darick McWillie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd minute Drummin were awarded a corner. Coinneach McNamara went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Coinneach McNamara got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Darick McWillie quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Torrey Rutherford fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Darick McWillie having to interfere. In the 42nd match minute, Drummin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boynton Coyle to maneuver through the defense. Breasal Beckett struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Donan Beckett didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Clonegal. Andrew McNamee fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donan Beckett having to interfere. Darick McWillie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Barcvni Frankson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The wind increased when Barcvni Frankson made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Barcvni Frankson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Drummin's supporters rose to their feet, but Barcvni Frankson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Darick McWillie breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 54 minutes Clonegal's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Coinneach McNamara who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Coinneach McNamara got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Darick McWillie quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Clonegal's Darick McWillie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barcvni Frankson in the 56th minute of play. After having played for 57 minutes, Torrey Rutherford managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Drummin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Torrey Rutherford was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Andrew McNamee sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Torrey Rutherford got free with Darick McWillie in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Clonegal's goalkeeper Darick McWillie, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Darick McWillie went to the wrong direction when Coinneach McNamara was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Kerrigan Cooney kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Torrey Rutherford had several of the Clonegal's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 84 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-3 score and a disappointed Darick McWillie as he didn't even see the shot coming. After a defensive mix-up in Drummin's zone, Treno Morrison stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Donan Beckett came out of the goal and Treno Morrison tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Breasal Beckett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Torrey Rutherford sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Breasal Beckett received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Donan Beckett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
