Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Brannon McLaughlin got the match started through his kick off. Tullagh's Hewney Palmer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Salmon McTom in the 2nd minute of play. Bourns McPeter kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Donell MaCollin during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Donell MaCollin hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Torna Doyle got free with Gavin Harkin in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 8th minute Brannon McLaughlin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gavin Harkin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Declan McJames received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Hewney Palmer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 15 played minutes Cloonlumny got a freekick which was hit by Garrett McPaul. In the 16th minute of the match, Brannon McLaughlin tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gavin Harkin saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Torna Doyle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Donell MaCollin hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Gavin Harkin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Torna Doyle in the 23rd minute. With an all-out effort, Tullagh's Gavin Harkin threw himself towards the right post 24 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Brannon McLaughlin, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 30th minute Brannon McLaughlin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gavin Harkin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Cloonlumny's Gavin Harkin got control of the ball when Torna Doyle tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 33 minutes, Bourns McPeter mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tullagh and the Cloonlumny players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Tullagh getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Russ Ferguson hit a great ball. 35 minutes into the match, Salmon McTom had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hewney Palmer. Tullagh's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Salmon McTom was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Barclay McFrank walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. In the 45th minute, Brecc Frankson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hewney Palmer was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Barclay McFrank was the one to do the kick off. Russ Ferguson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 55 minutes into the game, Torna Doyle cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Gavin Harkin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gavin Harkin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brannon McLaughlin in the 60th minute of play. In the 64th minute, Declan McJames got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Donell MaCollin got his second yellow card in the match during the 67th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 68th minute, Donell MaCollin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cloonlumny's Gavin Harkin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Torna Doyle in the 72nd minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, Bourns McPeter notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Cloonlumny's Gavin Harkin. Gavin Harkin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Declan McJames sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 87th match minute, Tullagh was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bourns McPeter to maneuver through the defense. Salmon McTom recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 91 played minutes Cloonlumny got a freekick which was hit by Garrett McPaul. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
