Ballylusk's Patton McCollion played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beara Moran in the 46th minute of play.

But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bradaigh Gollogley couldn't finish the play. 97 minutes into the match, Derrymullan's goalkeeper Herich McNamara had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bradaigh Gollogley . With a little luck, Derrymullan's Herich McNamara got control of the ball when Bradaigh Gollogley tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Derrymullan players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
