Spectators: 6766 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1766, VIP seats: 0) Tullagh's Brannon McLaughlin started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 played minutes, Rahans FC's Bil Duggan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Hewney Palmer came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Rahans FC reached it. After 4 played minutes Rahans FC got a freekick which was hit by Ailín Horgan. When Tullagh's Torna Doyle in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rahans FC's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Rahans FC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Ailín Horgan hit a great ball. Boethis Cooney made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Torna Doyle in the 6th minute of play. The supporters of Tullagh booed when Rahans FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ryan McOliver didn't get a good kick on the ball. 10 minutes into the game, Bourns McPeter was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tullagh's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rahans FC the free kick. In the 10th match minute, Tullagh was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bourns McPeter to maneuver through the defense. When Tullagh's Brannon McLaughlin in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rahans FC's goalie prevented a goal. 24 minutes into the game, Beiti Glen Crowe recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Hewney Palmer. Beiti Glen Crowe showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 27th minute, Ryan McOliver got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 29 minutes into the match, Tullagh's goalkeeper Hewney Palmer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ryan McOliver. In the 35th minute, Brannon McLaughlin made a precise shot to the right of Boethis Cooney. Rahans FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Hewney Palmer was out of position in the 41 minute of play, and Beiti Glen Crowe capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Beiti Glen Crowe really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. When Brannon McLaughlin came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Tullagh fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brannon McLaughlin couldn't finish the play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Beiti Glen Crowe was the one to do the kick off. Brannon McLaughlin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Boethis Cooney tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 69 minutes into the match, Tullagh's Torna Doyle sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Boethis Cooney narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 71 minutes into the game, Rahans FC's Beiti Glen Crowe nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hewney Palmer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. A collision led to Tullagh getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Bourns McPeter hit a great ball. In the 76th minute, Tullagh's Brannon McLaughlin dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-2. After 81 minutes of play, Rahans FC's Beiti Glen Crowe made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hewney Palmer was left in no man's land by his defense there! Boethis Cooney was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Brant Bayes showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-3 in the 85 minute of play. Brannon McLaughlin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boethis Cooney having to interfere. After 95 minutes, Brant Bayes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tullagh and the Rahans FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Rahans FC booed when Tullagh was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brant Bayes didn't get a good kick on the ball.
