Donal Benson took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Patton McCollion. The attack was good, but when Donal Benson in the 19th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. After 20 played minutes Ballylusk got a freekick which was hit by Rorry Myler. Donal Benson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patton McCollion having to interfere. After 22 minutes, Rorry Myler mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ballylusk and the Prosperous Utd players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Prosperous Utd booed when Ballylusk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rorry Myler didn't get a good kick on the ball. Brickeen Caffrey hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Donal Benson took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Patton McCollion. Patton McCollion dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Donal Benson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Donal Benson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Patton McCollion tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Donal Benson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Donal Benson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Patton McCollion read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. The Ballylusk players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Prosperous Utd were winning 0-2.

Donal Benson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patton McCollion having to interfere. When Breas Colwell came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Prosperous Utd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Breas Colwell couldn't finish the play. Pearse McSteve showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Braeden Ghee in the 57th minute of the match. Pearse McSteve showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Braeden Ghee , who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Donal Benson took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Patton McCollion. Patton McCollion dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. With a little luck, Ballylusk's Patton McCollion got control of the ball when Donal Benson tried to sneak it across the goal line. 67 minutes into the match, Prosperous Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Bradaigh Gollogley came free, but Pearse McSteve reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 72 minutes into the match, Prosperous Utd's Donal Benson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Patton McCollion narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 74th play minute Donal Benson came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Patton McCollion. 0-4. Brickeen Caffrey was shown his second yellow card after 85 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Prosperous Utd getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Brickeen Caffrey hit a great ball. Pearse McSteve stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bradaigh Gollogley 's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. Pearse McSteve took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Braeden Ghee , even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Breas Colwell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Patton McCollion tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over Prosperous Utd could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Ballylusk throughout the match.
