Prosperous Utd's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ballytrasna AFC the free kick. A collision led to Prosperous Utd getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Donn Keegan hit a great ball. Iarla Rutherford received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Pearse McSteve tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Ballytrasna AFC getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. With his leg Philib McJon managed to avoid a goal in the 11thth minute, when Prosperous Utd's Donal Benson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Iarla Rutherford in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pearse McSteve prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 16 minutes into the match, Prosperous Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Iarla Rutherford came free, but Pearse McSteve reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 20 minutes, Breas Colwell managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Prosperous Utd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Breas Colwell was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Prosperous Utd's Breas Colwell got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 24 minutes, Torin Dempsey mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ballytrasna AFC and the Prosperous Utd players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 24th match minute, Ballytrasna AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Torin Dempsey to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Donal Benson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Prosperous Utd's supporters rose to their feet, but Donal Benson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Philib McJon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ballytrasna AFC's Philib McJon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Ballytrasna AFC from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Donal Benson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Prosperous Utd's supporters rose to their feet, but Donal Benson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Philib McJon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Donal Benson's late challenge caught a Ballytrasna AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Donal Benson helped the player get up and apologised. Donal Benson kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. If Donal Benson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Prosperous Utd's Breas Colwell was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 39th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. 46 minutes into the match, Ballytrasna AFC's goalkeeper Philib McJon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Donal Benson. Donal Benson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 52nd match minute, Ballytrasna AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Caoilte Ryan to maneuver through the defense. In the 54th minute, Torin Dempsey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Prosperous Utd's Briony Mulvihill got a free kick in the 56th minute. In the 61st minute Breas Colwell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Philib McJon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iarla Rutherford's late challenge caught a Prosperous Utd's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Iarla Rutherford helped the player get up and apologised. In the 66th match minute, Ballytrasna AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iarla Rutherford to maneuver through the defense. After 83 minutes of play, Prosperous Utd's Breas Colwell made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Philib McJon was left in no man's land by his defense there! Beccan Branson charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Beccan Branson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Prosperous Utd fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 90th minute. Penalty! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Briony Mulvihill during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Briony Mulvihill kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. In the 95th minute, Bradon Silke sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Prosperous Utd's Pearse McSteve didn't even have to move.
