Tobin Caffrey was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Jeremiah McLian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Bardon Rogers, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 16 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Tobin Caffrey was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Tobin Caffrey stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jeremiah McLian's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Brenden Cronin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bresal Ferguson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jeremiah McLian struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Tobin Caffrey didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carrigart FC. Brenden Cronin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bresal Ferguson, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Baine Cooney sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Brenden Cronin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Baine Cooney in the 39th minute. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Bresal Ferguson made the kick off in the second half. In the 58th minute, Bresal Ferguson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Brenden Cronin was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Bardon Rogers blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tobin Caffrey having to make a save. In the 76th minute Baine Cooney shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brenden Cronin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brenden Cronin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bresal Ferguson, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Baine Cooney received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Brenden Cronin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 83 minutes into the match, Bardon Rogers dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tobin Caffrey, 2-2. Brenden Cronin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baine Cooney in the 95th minute of the match.
