With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pearse McSteve prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 22nd minute, Donn Keegan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Prosperous Utd fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 24 minutes into the match, Cloonlumny's goal looked a bit too open when Breas Colwell came free, but Gavin Harkin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Declan McJames received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Pearse McSteve came out and tried to block the shot, but Declan McJames slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 26th minute. In the 30th minute Barclay McFrank shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pearse McSteve saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Breas Colwell struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Gavin Harkin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Prosperous Utd. Gavin Harkin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donal Benson in the 36th minute of the match. Beccan Branson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 68th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gavin Harkin. Cloonlumny's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.
