Boyd Perth hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Oliver McJames took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 7th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Blathma Holt. Greeve AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Donal Benson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Blathma Holt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 10th minute, Donal Benson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Blathma Holt was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Breas Colwell blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Blathma Holt having to make a save. Blair McLiam's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 15thth minute, Pearse McSteve skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a rather tough play, Greeve AFC's Beachain Jameson got a free kick in the 19th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Breas Colwell managed to get in a good position for a shot. Prosperous Utd's supporters rose to their feet, but Breas Colwell was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Blathma Holt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Blathma Holt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Breas Colwell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Donal Benson's late challenge caught a Greeve AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Donal Benson helped the player get up and apologised. In the 23rd match minute, Prosperous Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donal Benson to maneuver through the defense. Donal Benson scored 0-2 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Blathma Holt, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Blathma Holt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Breas Colwell in the 29th minute of the match. When Prosperous Utd's Donal Benson, in the 39th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Prosperous Utd. Pearse McSteve made an important save on a dangerous shot by Blair McLiam in the 42nd minute. After 43 minutes, Keefe McTommy mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Greeve AFC and the Prosperous Utd players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 45thth minute of the game Breas Colwell who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Greeve AFC's Blathma Holt was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After the first half Prosperous Utd were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Brickeen McVictor made the kick off in the second half. Blathma Holt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Breas Colwell, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Oliver McJames kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Brickeen McVictor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Prosperous Utd's Donal Benson got his second yellow card of the match in the 61st minute. The referee ordered Donal Benson off the ground. The audience was convinced that Brickeen McVictor's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pearse McSteve was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Prosperous Utd's Breas Colwell in the 81st minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Blathma Holt was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Greeve AFC through an amazing save. The supporters of Greeve AFC booed when Prosperous Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oliver McJames didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Brickeen McVictor managed to get in a good position for a shot. With an all-out effort, Prosperous Utd's Blathma Holt threw himself towards the right post 89 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Breas Colwell, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 90th minute, Beckett Ramsey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Brickeen McVictor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Pearse McSteve tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Prosperous Utd's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
