Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. When Declan McJames came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Cloonlumny fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Declan McJames couldn't finish the play. Bradaigh Moran struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Tobin Caffrey didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cloonlumny. Gavin Harkin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bresal Ferguson in the 10th minute of play. Brecc Frankson's late challenge caught a Cornabrogue's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Brecc Frankson helped the player get up and apologised. Brecc Frankson kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Gavin Harkin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rollan Brennan in the 13th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rollan Brennan in the 14th minute of play forced Cloonlumny's goalkeeper Gavin Harkin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Barclay McFrank received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tobin Caffrey came out and tried to block the shot, but Barclay McFrank slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 15th minute. Gavin Harkin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brosnan Deans in the 19th minute of play. If Barclay McFrank had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Baine Cooney came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Cornabrogue fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baine Cooney couldn't finish the play. 32 minutes into the game, Bresal Ferguson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Gavin Harkin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Declan McJames fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobin Caffrey having to interfere. If Tormaigh Beckett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bresal Ferguson in the 40th minute of play forced Cloonlumny's goalkeeper Gavin Harkin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bresal Ferguson to make the kick off. If Barclay McFrank had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hayes Lester hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. When Bradaigh Moran came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Cloonlumny fans jumped to their feet. Henry McPeter recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Barclay McFrank sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tobin Caffrey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henry McPeter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Henry McPeter in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tobin Caffrey prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cloonlumny's Barclay McFrank got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cornabrogue's Tobin Caffrey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bradaigh Moran in the 78th minute of play. If Rollan Brennan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 91 minutes into the match, Cornabrogue's goal looked a bit too open when Bradaigh Moran came free, but Tobin Caffrey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 94 minutes into the game, Henry McPeter was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cloonlumny's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cornabrogue the free kick. A collision led to Cloonlumny getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Henry McPeter hit a great ball. 98 minutes into the match, Cloonlumny's goal looked a bit too open when Bresal Ferguson came free, but Gavin Harkin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cornabrogue succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Cloonlumny had controlled the match.
