Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Donn Gough took the kick off in the first half of the match. Hayes Sheridan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dawayne Byrne in the 3rd minute. Barnadarrig's Hayes Sheridan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Barnadarrig from getting a goal against them. 9 minutes into the match, Barnadarrig's goal looked a bit too open when Beara Moran came free, but Hayes Sheridan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Raonall Palmer's late challenge caught a Barnadarrig's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Raonall Palmer helped the player get up and apologised. In the 11th match minute, Derrymullan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raonall Palmer to maneuver through the defense. 12 minutes into the match, Derrymullan's goal looked a bit too open when Phillip McGlenn came free, but Herich McNamara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Baoithin McJohnny received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Herich McNamara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Phillip McGlenn's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Herich McNamara read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Daniel Rogers charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Daniel Rogers the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Barnadarrig getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Daniel Rogers hit a great ball. Barrie Murphy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Herich McNamara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baoithin McJohnny in the 23rd minute of play. Barnadarrig's Hayes Sheridan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Barnadarrig from getting a goal against them. After 29 played minutes Derrymullan got a freekick which was hit by Becc McLian. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donn Gough in the 30th minute of play forced Derrymullan's goalkeeper Herich McNamara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 31 minutes into the game, Dawayne Byrne cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Hayes Sheridan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 37 minutes into the match, Derrymullan's goal looked a bit too open when Reilley Hutton came free, but Herich McNamara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 38 minutes into the game, Becc McLian cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Hayes Sheridan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Reilley Hutton's late challenge caught a Derrymullan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Reilley Hutton helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Barnadarrig getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Reilley Hutton hit a great ball. Corey Perth's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Hayes Sheridan firmly grabbed it by the left post. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Beara Moran was the one to do the kick off. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Baoithin McJohnny put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Herich McNamara. Daniel Rogers kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 68 minutes, Herich McNamara successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 69th minute of the match Barnadarrig got a corner. Derrymullan's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Donn Gough ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Barnadarrig's corner Donn Gough fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Herich McNamara quite easily take care of the ball. The audience was convinced that Baoithin McJohnny's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Herich McNamara was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. The supporters of Derrymullan booed when Barnadarrig was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Breed McLaughlin didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beara Moran in the 74th minute of play forced Barnadarrig's goalkeeper Hayes Sheridan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 79 minutes into the match, Beara Moran notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Barnadarrig's Hayes Sheridan. Hayes Sheridan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 4-1 became the score in the 82nd minute when Beara Moran elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Baoithin McJohnny might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Herich McNamara. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Baoithin McJohnny ran back to his position shaking his head. Herich McNamara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reilley Hutton in the 94th minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, Derrymullan's goalkeeper Herich McNamara had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Reilley Hutton. Herich McNamara stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Baoithin McJohnny's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. Derrymullan were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Barnadarrig for a fine match.
