Spectators: 6759 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1759, VIP seats: 0) Rorey Willson started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Rorry Myler's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 4thth minute, Philib McJon skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After having played for 6 minutes, Bradaigh Gollogley managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ballylusk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bradaigh Gollogley was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Bhrighde McJohn fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ballytrasna AFC's protests and gave Bhrighde McJohn a yellow card for diving instead. In the 24th minute, Braeden Ghee reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Philib McJon. The goal made the score 1-0. 27 minutes into the match, Rorey Willson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Patton McCollion. Ballylusk's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rorey Willson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After 33 played minutes Ballylusk got a freekick which was hit by Paud Tierney. Bhrighde McJohn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Patton McCollion tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 47th match minute, Ballylusk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rorry Myler to maneuver through the defense. The corner ended in Bradon Silke almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ballylusk's Patton McCollion did a great save. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Braeden Ghee to strike the kick off in the second half. Iarla Rutherford fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patton McCollion having to interfere. In the 58th minute, Ballylusk's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Iarla Rutherford fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Iarla Rutherford had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Ballytrasna AFC's zone, Braeden Ghee stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Philib McJon came out of the goal and Braeden Ghee tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 76 minutes into the game, Braeden Ghee cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Philib McJon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ballylusk's goalkeeper Patton McCollion, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 86 minutes Ballylusk's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bradon Silke who took care of the corner kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Braeden Ghee in the 88th minute of play forced Ballytrasna AFC's goalkeeper Philib McJon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Braeden Ghee recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Philib McJon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bradaigh Gollogley , who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. Bradaigh Gollogley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 99th minute. Philib McJon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ballytrasna AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
