Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Ballybryan FC's Geary Coyle started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 6 minutes into the match, Ballybryan FC's Banban Duggan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hayes Sheridan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Shea McFrancise fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barnadarrig's protests and gave Shea McFrancise a yellow card for diving instead. In the 11th match minute, Barnadarrig was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Shea McFrancise to maneuver through the defense. Geary Coyle took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hayes Sheridan. Hayes Sheridan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. George McCollion kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. A hard shot 24 in the game by Baoithin McJohnny from a close distance when the talented Beartlai Kirby managed to make a qualified save. Ballybryan FC's players were relieved. Donn Gough received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Beartlai Kirby tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 29th minute Geary Coyle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hayes Sheridan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 32 minutes into the game, Ballybryan FC's Banban Duggan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hayes Sheridan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. The supporters of Ballybryan FC booed when Barnadarrig was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reilley Hutton didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hayes Sheridan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geary Coyle, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Barnadarrig's zone, Banban Duggan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hayes Sheridan came out of the goal and Banban Duggan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Baoithin McJohnny got free with Beartlai Kirby in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Donn Gough to make the kick off. Hayes Sheridan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baran Holt in the 52nd minute of the match. Shea McFrancise kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. After having played for 55 minutes, Baoithin McJohnny managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barnadarrig's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baoithin McJohnny was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Beartlai Kirby showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donn Gough in the 56th minute of the match. When Baran Holt fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Donn Gough blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Beartlai Kirby having to make a save. Brion Dillon kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Baoithin McJohnny took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Beartlai Kirby. Beartlai Kirby dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. In the 90thth minute of the game Baoithin McJohnny who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ballybryan FC's Beartlai Kirby was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Beartlai Kirby showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donn Gough in the 91st minute of the match. Beartlai Kirby made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donn Gough in the 93rd minute of play. 96 minutes into the match, Ballybryan FC's goal looked a bit too open when Baoithin McJohnny came free, but Beartlai Kirby reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
