Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Royan Branson kicked off to start the match. The audience was convinced that Eoin McBrand's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bran Quinnless was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. A collision led to Crookstown getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Danann Duggan hit a great ball. After 11 played minutes Granavone AFC got a freekick which was hit by Gerard O'Keefe. Baiste McLaughlin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Royan Branson, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Gerard O'Keefe got his second yellow card in the match during the 13th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Baiste McLaughlin didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Crookstown's Royan Branson shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-0 in the ordered_time% minute. When Brant Rogers came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Crookstown fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brant Rogers couldn't finish the play. Keelin Tierney struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Keelin Tierney to make the kick off. The Crookstown fans' excitement grew in the 53rd match minute when Crookstown's Brant Rogers looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Baiste McLaughlin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brant Rogers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Brant Rogers in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Baiste McLaughlin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 63rdth minute of the game Royan Branson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Granavone AFC's Baiste McLaughlin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Baiste McLaughlin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Royan Branson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Brant Rogers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baiste McLaughlin having to interfere. It became 4-0 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. Baiste McLaughlin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Royan Branson in the 88th minute of the match. Crookstown's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brant Rogers was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 95th minute, Royan Branson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Baiste McLaughlin was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Crookstown had played much better football throughout.
