Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Robin McJames took the kick off in the first half of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Berrach Dimson got free with Reilly McLiam in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 11th minute, Bree McWill hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Keaigh Utd's Robin McJames slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Reilly McLiam. That made the score 1-0 after 15 minutes of play. In the 19th minute Douglas Walker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bergin Jameson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Reilly McLiam showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robin McJames, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. When Robin McJames came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Keaigh Utd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robin McJames couldn't finish the play. After 26 minutes, Dermod McBjarton mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Scartaglin and the Keaigh Utd players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 29 minutes of play, Scartaglin's Bree McWill made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bergin Jameson was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 32nd match minute, Scartaglin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Balor Gollogley to maneuver through the defense. Bergin Jameson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Douglas Walker, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Teagan McWilliam during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Douglas Walker made the kick off in the second half. If Bree McWill had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Douglas Walker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bergin Jameson having to interfere. When Scartaglin's Douglas Walker in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Keaigh Utd's goalie prevented a goal. When Douglas Walker came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Scartaglin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Douglas Walker couldn't finish the play. In the 67th minute Berrach Dimson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reilly McLiam saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Robin McJames hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. When Scartaglin's Bree McWill, in the 75th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Scartaglin. Berrach Dimson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reilly McLiam having to interfere. In the 80th minute, Scartaglin's Douglas Walker ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bergin Jameson. Bergin Jameson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. Reilly McLiam made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Berrach Dimson in the 88th minute of play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
