Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Gweedore's Harvey McDecland started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 10 minutes into the match, Coorleagh's goal looked a bit too open when Harvey McDecland came free, but Beltany Horgan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gweedore's Banbhan Jameson got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eoghan Kirby kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Beltany Horgan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harvey McDecland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 25 minutes into the match, Coorleagh's goal looked a bit too open when Barr Quinnless came free, but Beltany Horgan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dónal McPhilip stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Finnigan Branson's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. After a rather tough play, Gweedore's Brefni Walker got a free kick in the 27th minute. Barr Quinnless took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Beltany Horgan. Beltany Horgan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 34 minutes into the match, Gweedore's Raymond Coyle sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Beltany Horgan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Beltany Horgan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harvey McDecland in the 36th minute of the match. Gweedore's Dónal McPhilip proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Gweedore from getting a goal against them. A hard shot by Doney Crowe from long distance, 42 minutes into the match, got Dónal McPhilip's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Beltany Horgan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Banbhan Jameson in the 46th minute of the match.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Finnigan Branson to make the kick off. Eoghan Kirby hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. When Harvey McDecland came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Gweedore fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Harvey McDecland couldn't finish the play. Coorleagh's Beltany Horgan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barr Quinnless in the 57th minute of play. Coorleagh's Beltany Horgan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Coorleagh from getting a goal against them. Raymond Coyle could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Beltany Horgan made a huge save. Coorleagh's Beltany Horgan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harvey McDecland in the 64th minute of play. In the 65th minute, Finnigan Branson made a precise shot to the right of Dónal McPhilip. Gweedore's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. If Rory Ramsey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 77 minutes into the game, Devlin Walker was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Coorleagh's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gweedore the free kick. The supporters of Gweedore booed when Coorleagh was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Devlin Walker didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gweedore were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Coorleagh to leave the ground with a draw.
