Barock McWill might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benen Johnson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Barock McWill ran back to his position shaking his head. Brannen Tierney sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 9thth minute of the game Brannen Tierney who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Quinalahy's Benen Johnson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Benen Johnson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Barock McWill, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 15th minute there was a penalty for Quinalahy. Colmcille Crowe stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Bel Keegan. 1-0. 24 minutes into the game, Rowen McBjarton cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Bel Keegan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 30 minutes into the game, Flann McAlphie was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Quinalahy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Drumane Utd the free kick. The supporters of Drumane Utd booed when Quinalahy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flann McAlphie didn't get a good kick on the ball. Barock McWill fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benen Johnson having to interfere. Rowen McBjarton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Bel Keegan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bercan McBrandon struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Bel Keegan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Quinalahy. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bercan McBrandon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Drumane Utd getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Bearach McSteve hit a great ball. In the 54th minute Rowen McBjarton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bel Keegan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 64th match minute, Drumane Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bearach McSteve to maneuver through the defense. In the 68th minute of the match Flann McAlphie shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bel Keegan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Rowen McBjarton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bel Keegan having to interfere. Rowen McBjarton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Bel Keegan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 74 minutes of play, Quinalahy's Rowen McBjarton made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bel Keegan was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Rowen McBjarton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Barock McWill in the 80thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Benen Johnson, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Drumane Utd's goalkeeper Bel Keegan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Rowen McBjarton came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Quinalahy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rowen McBjarton couldn't finish the play. Rowen McBjarton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bel Keegan having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Rowen McBjarton managed to get in a good position for a shot. Quinalahy's supporters rose to their feet, but Rowen McBjarton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bel Keegan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Quinalahy had played much better football throughout.
