Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Harvey McDecland got the match started through his kick off. Raymond Coyle might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bel Keegan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Raymond Coyle ran back to his position shaking his head. Harvey McDecland took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bel Keegan. Bel Keegan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After 7 minutes of play, Gweedore's Raymond Coyle made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bel Keegan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Harvey McDecland struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Bel Keegan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gweedore. Raymond Coyle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bel Keegan having to interfere. Bel Keegan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Harvey McDecland's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Cullan Deans charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cullan Deans the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Gweedore getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Cullan Deans hit a great ball. Drumane Utd's Bel Keegan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harvey McDecland in the 24th minute of play. Drumane Utd's Bel Keegan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Drumane Utd from getting a goal against them. If Harvey McDecland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Drumane Utd's defense didn't have a chance, in the 36th minute, when Harvey McDecland scored to the left of an out of position Bel Keegan, making the score, 3-0. Barr Quinnless hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Harvey McDecland might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bel Keegan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Harvey McDecland ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Barock McWill in the 47th minute of play forced Gweedore's goalkeeper Dónal McPhilip to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Brannen Tierney to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Banbhan Jameson in the 51st minute of play forced Drumane Utd's goalkeeper Bel Keegan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 52 minutes, Barr Quinnless managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gweedore's supporters crossed their fingers, but Barr Quinnless was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bel Keegan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hickey Ghee in the 53rd minute of play. In the 56thth minute of the game Raymond Coyle who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Drumane Utd's Bel Keegan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bel Keegan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Harvey McDecland's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. Brannen Tierney received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Dónal McPhilip tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 67 minutes into the match, Gweedore's Harvey McDecland sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bel Keegan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 70th minute, Harvey McDecland left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gweedore fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Brannen Tierney took a quick shot and it went in 4-1 without a chance for Dónal McPhilip to make any attempt to save it. In the 80th match minute, Gweedore was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harvey McDecland to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Drumane Utd's zone, Harvey McDecland stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bel Keegan came out of the goal and Harvey McDecland tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Harvey McDecland received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Bel Keegan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 89th minute, Derin Brennan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Harvey McDecland in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bel Keegan saved Drumane Utd from getting behind. Gweedore's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
