Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Ballynagall's Suibhne Lavine played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Torna Hamilton in the 3rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Kilsallagh's Ennis Beckett got a free kick in the 7th minute. Randal McMichel took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 9th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Batt McGlenn. Kilsallagh's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eamonn Deery during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Ballynagall booed when Kilsallagh was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eamonn Deery didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ballynagall's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kilsallagh the free kick. A collision led to Ballynagall getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Kilsallagh's Beineon Colwell quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Bardan Delaney, made in the 25th minute of the game. Gearalt Palmer charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Suibhne Lavine came out of the goal and Ennis Beckett tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gearalt Palmer to strike the kick off in the second half. Ballynagall's Bec Byrne suffered a sore thigh after 53 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 53 minutes, Ennis Beckett mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kilsallagh and the Ballynagall players grew even worse after the yellow card. Torna Hamilton could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Suibhne Lavine made a huge save. Torna Hamilton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Torrey McAaron kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Ballynagall's zone, Rownun Hutton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Suibhne Lavine came out of the goal and Rownun Hutton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 83rd minute, Beineon Colwell left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kilsallagh fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Suibhne Lavine showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Torna Hamilton, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Torna Hamilton kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Suibhne Lavine. That made the score 0-6 in the 96 minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Kilsallagh left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Ballynagall.
