Torrey McAaron struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Bairrionn Holt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ballynagall. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Suibhne Matthews to strike the kick off in the second half. Suibhne Lavine showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eoin Mulvihill, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Suibhne Lavine showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfred McWill in the 88th minute of the match. Suibhne Matthews received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Bairrionn Holt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 94 minutes, Torrey McAaron managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ballynagall's supporters crossed their fingers, but Torrey McAaron was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Ballynagall supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Ballynagall would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
