Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Donelle McCollion made the kick off which started today's match. When Richardstown Utd's Bailey Duggan in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kippagh's goalie prevented a goal. Hugh Caffey kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the match, Bailey Duggan notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Kippagh's Giles McBrand. Giles McBrand was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Begg McPhilip stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Donelle McCollion's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Coinneach McJames recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bailey Duggan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Giles McBrand having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Coinneach McJames got free with Begg McPhilip in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Begg McPhilip made an important save on a dangerous shot by Coinneach McJames in the 27th minute. Kippagh's Giles McBrand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bailey Duggan in the 30th minute of play. If Donelle McCollion had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Donelle McCollion sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Donelle McCollion in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Begg McPhilip prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd rose to their feet as Kippagh's Donelle McCollion slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Begg McPhilip. That made the score 1-1 after 43 minutes of play. Donelle McCollion sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bailey Duggan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Coinneach McJames got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Brannon McBjarton during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 55th match minute, Richardstown Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brannon McBjarton to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Richardstown Utd's zone, Coinneach McJames stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Begg McPhilip came out of the goal and Coinneach McJames tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 63 minutes into the match, Richardstown Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Coinneach McJames came free, but Begg McPhilip reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Donelle McCollion recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donegal McPeter in the 68th minute of play forced Richardstown Utd's goalkeeper Begg McPhilip to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute, Donelle McCollion made a precise shot to the right of Begg McPhilip. Richardstown Utd's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Donelle McCollion sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Donelle McCollion received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Begg McPhilip tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Donelle McCollion managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kippagh's supporters rose to their feet, but Donelle McCollion was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Begg McPhilip breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Richardstown Utd's zone, Coinneach McJames stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Begg McPhilip came out of the goal and Coinneach McJames tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Begg McPhilip showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Coinneach McJames, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Coinneach McJames sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Kippagh had won after a very even match.
